WHEN NALCOLM MET MALCOLM
"The Proof"
Malcolm signed the tourbook for Nalcolm after their conversation
at Café Opera, Stockholm, Sweden.
It was the night AC/DC played at the Globe Arena,
April 21 1996, Stockholm, Sweden, on the Ballbreaker Tour.
About 2 hours after the gig (which was amazing) Nalcolm went alone to
a popular nightclub and restaurant in the city called "Café
Opera". He walks into the place, and guess who are sitting
there at a table; Malcolm, Phil and Angus!
Nalcolm:
- I walked straight to their table, shaked hands and said hello. To Phil
I just had to say; - Good to see you back in the band!!
Then I started to have a conversation with Malcolm.
A security guy who sat next to them said something like; - If he doesn´t
wanna talk.....You leave!
- Okay, I said.
But the one who was REALLY talking was Malcolm. He was such a great guy
!
Of course I told him everything about AB/CD, and he
remembered us from the 1988 tour in Sweden when Bengus joined them
on stage at the IceStadium, Stockholm, among 7 other Angus "clones"
in the opening song "Who made Who".
- We had a chat for about half an hour, talking about just.....everything.
I had come straight from their gig so I had the tourbook
with me. A bartender gave me a pen and Malcolm signed
it:

- A real "Hero Meeting" ! Me and Malcolm !
(Just kidding..........he´s a God)
After a while I "left them alone" and went to the bar just
beside them. When they stood up to leave Malcolm turned to me and waved
goodbye.
- That was a GREAT evening ! To see them
perform on stage and then meet them afterwoods.
I just could´t believe it was true...
We also gave them our cd:s through a girl who works for Warner (WEA) Sweden.
Just thought they needed some inspiration for their next album........
